Everyone worships something. The questions that we must answer are (1) what do I worship? And (2) is it worthy of worship. When we worship God we will see that God is worthy of worship and He blesses our worship of Him. Together we will explore what it looks like to worship God and why we want to do that daily.

Trust is the most powerful currency on earth. There can be no real connection with trust. We want to connect with God and we want to see God working fully in our lives. In order for this to happen we must risk trusting God with surrender, pursuit, and obedience.

The primary purpose of our lives is to experience and point to the glory of God. Together we will see that answering God’s invitation to see and experience His glory gives wisdom and enables us to deal with life’s challenges in a healthy and God honoring way.

We wrestle with Paul's words in Philippians 4:4-9. Pastor Hunter helps us see how God offers us His peace and His presence as that we can take the "long view" together.

We can lose our patience, lose our temper, lose our train of thought, and even lose our motivation. This happens to all of us. One thing that we cannot lose is hope. Hope is the one resource and currency that always gives us what we need to take the next step and move forward. We know that God is always good and always at work. That means that we always have hope. Never underestimate what God is about to do.

The world tells us to take care of ourselves. The Kingdom of God says take care of others. This is a big switch for us to make. Jesus calls us to a life of not just withholding harm from the people around us—we are to actively seek to lift others up. This kind of relationship and community truly reflects God and is attractive to a hurting world.

We are made to live in relationship. At some point along the way, I will need others in my life and others will need me. This takes trust and courage. Being together is more than just being in the same space—it is investing in each other and choosing to know and be known.

Bad things are going to happen—that is a guarantee. Some of the bad things that happen are completely out of our control. But the one thing that we can always control is how we respond to what happens. We never have to act like a victim. We can have victory in Jesus and should never underestimate what God is about to do next.

We all have a story to tell. When that story involves God moving in our lives, we have a calling to share that story with others. When we experience redemption on the other side of pain, our stories can be the catalyst for someone else’s redemption as well.

Without purpose life becomes empty and boring. Life has meaning to be embraced and every person has a purpose to engage. Knowing our purpose becomes the catalyst for joy, endurance, and peace.
