Their captain comes to them with a problem: It seems that the old Michigan Central Train Station has ghosts haunting the workers who are trying to clean out the station for renovation. They find seven ghosts who all have cases of murder forcing them to haunt the station.
It becomes a task to hunt down each case and set the ghosts free, since some cases have not been solved in over 50 years. Will they find the killers to give the victims their freedom? Murder, mayhem, humor, ghosts galore, and lots of fun are in store in this paranormal ghost crime story by Bob Moats.

Chills!
The minute I knew that this fourth story in the series was out on Kindle, I snapped it up that day. I always, always have enjoyed Bobâs work, and this particular âRest in Peaceâ crime series is no different. The fact that he can bring them out quickly and thoroughly just amazes me. This one was ahead of schedule, in fact. Heâs that good. The train station story gives the reader a bit of history while telling the interesting stories behind the murders of several people who inhabit the train station and cannot move on until their murders are solved. The big catch? Some of them are more than 50 years old, so to say the files are cold cases would be to find those files practically in a deep freeze.
Putting their regular cold cases on hold, Russ, Mary and Wes dig into what they can find on the train stationâs haunting at the behest of their bossâ brother-in-law, who is attempting to get the building renovated for new use at this historic site. When the workmen say they will not go into the building with ghosts threatening them all the time, they all know something has to be done.
What they find is 7 ghosts with problems. Most cold cases have actual files. Whether there are any on this 8 remains to be seen. Theyâre certainly not in the regular cold case files, and their stories are interesting and unique enough that you just have to rely on Wes in particular to get the stories straight. I can just imagine being a ghost there and experiencing the unique behaviors of this special Cold Case team out of the Detroit Police Department. Russ, Mary, and the inimitable Wes are three of the best crime fighters the DPD has, and itâs evident. They work well together to get the job done. I think theyâre phenomenal.
Bob has a real winner of a series going here. I hope it goes on for a while. I can hardly wait for #5 because it will be his ghostly take on a specific sanatorium near here. I am getting chills already.
Always good!
This is the fourth installment of the Ghost Squad and it still as good as the first. This adventure takes place in a Haunted train station and the ghosts who want to move on. I enjoy Wes most of all - He is the ghost who helps with the cold case files. I will download the next book and hopefully the author will continue his creative writing. Fun to read!!
Former murder capital of the USA
They got lots of ghosts this time around. Wes, Mary, and Russ get loaned out to solve the hauntings of an iconic building, the abandoned train station.
