Ghost trick was a commercial failure, or at least not enough of a commercial success to make Capcom happy. But I think they knew what they had - that's why they ported it eight times - including two separate Android ports. A large part has got to be that it's a lot weirder and harder to explain than it's more straightforward Pheonix Wright cousin, with strange spatial puzzle elements. Personally, I think they released it too early - if this had come out in 2020, gifs of it would have done numbers. Thankfully, just like our hero in the game, Ghost Trick keeps kicking from beyond the grave.
