Sk: Marek kráčal po zasneženom nádvorí hradu Bratislava.
En: Marek walked through the snow-covered courtyard of Bratislava Castle.

Sk: Jeho srdce bilo rýchlo, nielen kvôli zimnému vetru.
En: His heart was beating fast, not just because of the winter wind.

Sk: Pred ním, v jeho predstavách, sa rysovala tá špeciálna chvíľa.
En: In his imagination, that special moment was taking shape in front of him.

Sk: Viedli ho tam city k Petre, ktoré už dlho skrýval.
En: He was being led there by his feelings for Petra, which he had been hiding for a long time.

Sk: Petra bola vedľa neho.
En: Petra was next to him.

Sk: Smiala sa a rozprávala sa so Zuzanou, ktorá vždy mala na jazyku nejaké štipľavé poznámky.
En: She was laughing and talking with Zuzana, who always had some biting remark ready.

Sk: "Marek, pozor na duchov!" zavtipkovala Zuzana, no Mareka to zastihlo nepripraveného.
En: "Marek, watch out for the ghosts!" joked Zuzana, but it caught Marek off guard.

Sk: Zvesti o pomstychtivom duchovi ho totiž mátali.
En: Rumors about a vengeful ghost haunted him after all.

Sk: Hradný večer vyzeral tajomne a občas sa mu zdalo, že v tieňoch vidí pohyb.
En: The castle evening looked mysterious, and sometimes it seemed to him that he saw movement in the shadows.

Sk: Petra bola nadšená príbehom o strašidlách.
En: Petra was thrilled by the ghost story.

Sk: "Poďme na vežu, hovorí sa, že tam duch rozdáva odkazy," navrhla s iskrou v očiach.
En: "Let's go to the tower, they say the ghost gives messages there," she suggested with a sparkle in her eyes.

Sk: Marek cítil, že je to jeho šanca.
En: Marek felt that this was his chance.

Sk: Musí prekonať strach a povedať jej, čo k nej cíti.
En: He must overcome his fear and tell her what he feels for her.

Sk: Cestou na vežu rozprávala Petra o myšlienke, že duchovia sú niekedy priateľskí.
En: On the way to the tower, Petra talked about the idea that ghosts are sometimes friendly.

Sk: "Možno by sa s nami ten duch rád porozprával," smiala sa.
En: "Maybe the ghost would like to talk with us," she laughed.

Sk: Zuzana len pokrútila hlavou, no pozorne sledovala Mareka.
En: Zuzana just shook her head but watched Marek carefully.

Sk: Videla jeho neistotu, ale vedela, že má silu prekonať ju.
En: She saw his uncertainty but knew he had the strength to overcome it.

Sk: Na vrcholku veže bol výhľad úžasný.
En: The view from the top of the tower was amazing.

Sk: Celá Bratislava sa kúpala v mesačnom svetle, zatiaľ čo mráz jemne tancoval okolo nich.
En: All of Bratislava was bathed in moonlight, while the frost gently danced around them.

Sk: Marek sa zhlboka nadýchol.
En: Marek took a deep breath.

Sk: Jeho tvár bola červená, či už od zimy, alebo od vzrušenia.
En: His face was red, whether from the cold or from excitement.

Sk: Pootočil sa k Petre.
En: He turned to Petra.

Sk: "Petra," začal.
En: "Petra," he began.

Sk: Jeho hlas bol jemný, no pevný.
En: His voice was gentle yet firm.

Sk: "Chcem ti niečo povedať."
En: "I want to tell you something."

Sk: Petra na neho uprela oči.
En: Petra looked at him.

Sk: "Áno? Čo sa deje?"
En: "Yes? What's going on?"

Sk: Marek sa rozhodol.
En: Marek decided.

Sk: "Petra, už dlho som chcel... vlastne..." červenal viac, ako kedykoľvek predtým, "mám ťa rád.
En: "Petra, I've wanted for a long time to... actually..." he blushed more than ever before, "I like you.

Sk: Veľmi ťa mám rád."
En: I really like you."

Sk: Petra sa usmiala.
En: Petra smiled.

Sk: Jej pery sa roztiahli do širokého úsmevu.
En: Her lips spread into a wide smile.

Sk: "Vážne?" Zohla sa k Marekovi a zašepkala: "Aj ja som dúfala, že to raz povieš."
En: "Really?" She leaned toward Marek and whispered, "I was hoping you'd say that one day too."

Sk: Zuzana sa neprítomne usmiala a zatlieskala.
En: Zuzana absentmindedly smiled and clapped.

Sk: "No konečne!" zvolala veselo.
En: "Finally!" she exclaimed cheerfully.

Sk: "Už som si myslela, že na to nikdy neprídu!"
En: "I thought they would never figure it out!"

Sk: Marek pocítil obrovskú úľavu.
En: Marek felt immense relief.

Sk: Strach z duchov i vyznania sa rozpustil ako prvý sneh na jar.
En: The fear of ghosts and the confession melted away like the first snow in spring.

Sk: Triumfálne sa chytili za ruky a pomaly sa vydali nazad dolu vežou.
En: Triumphantly, they held hands and slowly made their way back down the tower.

Sk: Keď schádzali, zdalo sa Marekovi, že dokonca aj chladný vzduch je teraz priateľskejší.
En: As they descended, it seemed to Marek that even the cold air was friendlier now.

Sk: Získal viac než len odvahu – získal priateľa a lásku.
En: He gained more than just courage—he gained a friend and love.

Sk: Vydali sa smerom domov, každý krok bol ľahký a naplnený novými začiatkami.
En: They headed home, each step light and filled with new beginnings.

Sk: Na nádvorí hradu sa Marek obzrel a usmial.
En: In the courtyard of the castle, Marek looked back and smiled.

Sk: Duch hradu ich možno sledoval, ale teraz to Marekovi nevadilo.
En: The ghost of the castle might have been watching them, but now it didn't bother Marek.

Sk: Prekonal jeden z najväčších strachov a pocítil hrejivý pocit, ktorý dúfal zažiť.
En: He had overcome one of his greatest fears and felt the warmth he had hoped to experience.

Sk: Práve tu, v objatí bratislavského hradu v zime, začal novú kapitolu svojho života.
En: Right there, in the embrace of the winter Bratislava Castle, he began a new chapter of his life.
