Winter, 1988.
The skies over the Twin Cities of Minnesota hang heavy and gray as three mortals—each bound by blood to powerful vampires—are called upon to investigate the disappearance of a missing ghoul.
Keith (Becca) is an ambitious executive whose love for his Ventrue master has become both a comfort and a cage.
Louis (Joaquim) is a city official groomed by his Brujah mentor for influence beyond mortal reach.
Dennis (Slovak) is a celebrated artist whose creative spark burns brightest under the attention—and cruelty—of his Toreador patron.
When their masters demand cooperation, these three ghouls find themselves forced together to uncover a mystery that leads deeper into the secret politics of the undead. Each carries their own form of servitude, and in their search, each will learn how fragile loyalty can be when it’s bound by blood.
About the Chronicle
Ghouls: Fatal Addiction – Servitude is a Vampire: The Masquerade chronicle set in the world of Twin Cities by Night.
Rather than following the Kindred themselves, this story turns its focus toward the humans who serve them—the lovers, enforcers, and protégés whose devotion blurs the line between affection and addiction.
Set against the backdrop of the late 1980s, Servitude explores themes of control, ambition, and the slow decay of autonomy beneath the cold glamour of unlife.
This chronicle can be experienced as a standalone story, but fans of Twin Cities by Night will recognize familiar names, locations, and the lingering shadow of the city’s undead elite.
