This prelude introduces the mortal lives caught in the wake of Kindred influence: a reserved IT professional whose friend’s sudden death left behind too many questions, and a fallen protector with a battered reputation who refuses to let his sister’s disappearance become just another cold case. What starts as mourning turns into pursuit—because in the World of Darkness, tragedy is rarely random… and obsession is often the first step toward the night.
