In the introduction, Jeremie  mentions there is a need for re-establishing base communication and relational trust. Having Sherpas in the organization is the key. As a Sherpa goes, so goes the team. She sees the importance of helping leaders focus on what really matters from a sense of peace.  People don't have reserves yet, so if they are going to be able to function they have to work to get healthy.

Leadership Tools:
The Influence Model - You have to have Character and Chemistry; Credibility and Competency to create trust with others. The question for a leader is, "Which of these areas are you most likely to lose credibility." Steve gave an example of himself. His natural desire to win can cause him to lose credibility with people. So at times he has to choose to not put winning ahead of the relationship. The key to learning through the Influence Model is to not get defensive when someone is honest with you about what areas need strengthened.
