The Reynoso Family's Daily Routine

In the morning, Mrs. Reynoso wakes up at 6:00. She takes a shower and gets dressed. Then she makes breakfast for the family. Mr. Reynoso wakes up at 6:30. He drinks coffee and reads the news. After breakfast, he goes to work at 7:30.

Lena, the daughter, is 10 years old. She wakes up at 7:00. She brushes her teeth, washes her face, and eats breakfast. She goes to school at 7:45. Her little brother, Diego, is 6 years old. He wakes up at 7:15. He gets dressed and eats cereal. He goes to school with Lena.

In the afternoon, Lena and Diego come home at 3:00. Lena does her homework and plays with Diego. Diego plays with his toys and watches cartoons.

Mrs. Reynoso comes home from work at 4:30. She cooks dinner and cleans the kitchen. Mr. Reynoso comes home at 5:00. He helps the children with their homework.

In the evening, the family eats dinner together at 6:30. After dinner, they talk and relax. Sometimes they play a game or read a book. Diego takes a bath and puts on his pajamas.

At 8:00, Lena and Diego go to bed. Mr. and Mrs. Reynoso go to bed at 10:00. They are tired but happy.

It is a good day.

🪟 The Dirty Window (A1 Story)

Every morning, a woman looks out her window.She sees her neighbor hang clothes outside.

The woman says,“Look at that! The clothes are not clean.She does not wash well. Her clothes are still dirty.”

She says this every day.

One day, the woman wakes up.She looks out the window again.She is surprised.

“Wow!” she says. “Today the clothes are clean!She finally learns how to wash!”

Her husband says,“No. This morning I clean our window.”

Now the woman is quiet.She understands the clothes are not dirty.The window is dirty.

👩‍👧‍👦 Rebecca’s Daily Routine (A1–A2 Story)

Rebecca wakes up early every morning. She wakes her three children. The children get out of bed and wash their faces.

Rebecca makes breakfast for her children. They eat eggs, toast, and fruit.

After breakfast, Rebecca cleans the house. She washes clothes and cleans the kitchen.

The children play together. Rebecca helps them with their homework.

At noon, Rebecca makes lunch. They eat rice, beans, and chicken.

In the afternoon, Rebecca takes the children to the park. They play soccer and run.

After they come home, Rebecca prepares dinner. The family eats together.

After dinner, Rebecca gives her children a bath. She reads them a story before bedtime.

🏺 The Cracked Pot (A1 Story)

A woman goes to the river every day.

She carries two pots. She puts water in the pots and walks home.

One pot is perfect. It holds all the water. The other pot had a crack. Water falls out as the woman walks.

The cracked pot feels sad. “I’m not good,” it says. “I lose water. I cannot do my job.”

The woman smiles and says, “Look at the flowers on your side of the path. I plant seeds there. You give water to the seeds every day. Now the flowers grow!”

The cracked pot is happy. It is not perfect, but it is still useful.

Hello! My name is Maria. I live in a small house with my family. I want to tell you about my day.

I wake up at 6:30 in the morning. I get out of bed and brush my teeth. Then, I wash my face and get dressed. I usually wear jeans and a T-shirt.

At 7:00, I eat breakfast. I usually eat eggs, toast, and fruit. I drink coffee or orange juice.

After breakfast, I go to work. I am a teacher. I start work at 8:00 a.m. I teach English to children. I like my job. I finish work at 3:00 p.m.

In the afternoon, I go home and take a short nap. Then I go for a walk with my dog. His name is Max. He is small and friendly.

In the evening, I cook dinner. Sometimes I make rice, chicken, and vegetables. I eat with my family. After dinner, I wash the dishes and watch TV.

At 9:30, I take a shower and read a book. I go to bed at 10:00 p.m. I am usually very tired, so I sleep well.
