Continuing with the Biblical character of Gideon, we look in this message at the importance of tearing down the altars to false idols in our lives, and putting God in first place, just like Gideon did. It takes courage to be a Christian and live for God, and becoming a living sacrifice for him, we believe, is the intended life that we are to live as Christians, as we put our trust and hope in our Lord and Saviour, and in Him alone. --- So wie bei Gideon in der Bibel, sollen wir Gott an erste Stelle setzen und die Altäre der falschen Götzen in unserem Leben niederreißen. Es erfordert Mut, ein Christ zu sein und für Gott zu leben. Wir glauben, es ist unsere Bestimmung, ein lebendiges Opfer für ihn zu werden, indem wir unser Vertrauen und unsere Hoffnung auf unseren Herrn und Retter Jesus setzen. Und auf ihn allein.
