Laurie's latest sleepless night was centered on Gideon, the farmer who lived in a time when villages were pillaged and plundered and villagers oppressed.  God had more to teach Laurie--to show her more about this brave but very ordinary man who never doubted God, but doubted his own abilities. However, after proving his clever courage by threshing in danger, Gideon is chosen to glorify the Lord in the most in-the-enemy's-face way. Listen and see if you don't identify with Brave Gideon.
