We get it Paul, trust us, we get it man. After a few weeks away from the Four Horsemen of fat loss and hypertrophy, your ears should be plenty resensitized for this episode. Remember that questions from the mentoring lab get answered first.
Pre-register now for our next, June 10th, enrollment. Do your cells burn out? Does your pancreas get tired? Do low RIR sets give you a mean pump? Does a vegetarian diet have a place in bodybuilding? Life's questions answered with comedic relief sprinkled in. We do it because we love you.Topics discussed include:
Here's a prediction: This episode is one of the greats. It's going to circulate. People will start talking. There will be murmurs in the community. The IWF will get wind of its existence. "There are two handsome podcasters talking about what? Abolishing the press out? They've started a hashtag? We need to see this." A few months go by, the Max Out or Black Out Classic has become a worldwide sensation, Seb and @the_squatfather get a call from the IOC with a job offer to run the IWF, they accept, and the rest is history.
After the recording stopped, Ryan and Seb had a back and forth compliment battle the likes of which we've never seen. For that reason, we won't bore you with our praises of everything that Seb does for the Weightlifting community. Seb, you're a real one and an OG of the game. Thank you for all that you do ❤️ Topics discussed:
Hey, wait, that title is click bait. No it's not, you're just a pervert 😆 Questions for Jess and Jimmy? Comment below or slide on into the DMs. We record these episodes every two weeks so while you may not see your question answered right away, you best believe we won't forget about you. Gifted Performance Podcast: Equipped Powerlifting 101 with Ian Bell [@iandeadlifts]
This week we had an OG of the equipped lifting game, IPF Open World Record Holder, sole proprietor of the House of Beef, and not one...not two...not three...not even four....but FIVE time IPF Junior World Champ, Ian Bell on the GPP to chop it up.

Thanks a million for coming on and chatting with us Ian. It was a true pleasure. Everyone make sure you give Ian a follow as he ramps up for his next meet and go pick up some House of Beef apparel so you can let everyone know what's for dinner...it's you...you're the beef.
We don't know if this question should make you laugh or cry. Actually, it might be ok to do both. What do you think is the one supplement you've wasted the most money on? Let's hear it in the comments. Another heater of an episode in the books. We are sooooo close to crossing that 400 subscriber mark on YouTube so make sure you've shown us some love over there by hitting that subscribe button. You can bet your firm, well developed, and shaved (if you're Dom) butts that we'll be doing a giveaway when we hit 500 so do your part to take us to the mooooooon 🚀
On this week's episode of the #GPP we had the privilege of chatting with the brain trust behind Data Driven Strength, Josh [@josh.datadrivenstrength] and Zac [@zac.datadrivenstrength]. Whether you're a bodybuilder, powerlifter, weightlifter, or really whatever barbell sport gang affiliation you represent, this is not one to be missed.
The entire Gifted Team would like to offer a huge thank you to Josh and Zac for coming on. It was an episode that we won't soon forget and look forward to doing it again soon. If you do happen to be roommates with Patrick Star, come out from under that rock and check these guys out because they're moving the needle in strength training education on the gram like no others. Enjoy!
Saying that this one is overdue would be an understatement.
How did we start things off? The number one struggle for both male and female dieters around the world, weight maintenance. We are lucky enough to have @jessi.leee to discuss these kinds of topics from a scientific and coaching perspective while @anastasiarobin_gp who has years of bodybuilding, CrossFit, and Olympic Weightlifting experience to lend her personal anecdote.
We had a lot of fun putting this together for you all. As this branch of the GPP grows, we will be doing a good bit of Q&A style episodes. Any and all questions can be sent to the likes of Jess, Jimmy, Squatdad, or directly to the Gifted Performance Team on Instagram or in our private Facebook Group. If you are a Gifted Athlete and you're not in the Facebook group, is you sleeping?!? Topics discussed include:
New episode of the GPP with USAPL and IPF legend in the flesh, Arian Khamesi @coachariank
Any friend of @miketaylordpt is a friend of Gifted and when you've got as much insight into meet day coaching as Arian has, a deep dive into PL coaching is a no brainer. Topics discussed include:
It's April 1st and there's no better way to spend your Thursday than to come listen to these fools answer your questions. The affectionately named, Gifted Performance Comedy Troupe never disappoints.
How about that? Five questions answered in one episode and more so than ever before, Paul was on his game. You really don't want to miss our discussion on programming for weak muscle groups. This is a topic we felt not a lot of other podcasts or coaches have addressed in detail. Enjoy! Topics discussed included:
