UPDATE: Here is her latest journey. I am so excited to be going back to Ethiopia in both May and December of this year. God is doing such a great work there and I am so thankful to be a part of it. We will be working with vulnerable children and families. My primary focus for the May trip will be a new home for teenage girls called Beta Hosanna that we have been able to open just this year through AWAA. Our goal for this home is to “catch“ these girls when they are put out of the orphanage onto the street at the age of 18 and empower them through education and training but more importantly to teach them the most important thing, Jesus. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer as well as financially. We are so grateful.

  • Interracial family and adoption
Today we are talking with Focus on the Family Canada. They have great resources for families and churches.
Wendy who we will be talking with is an adoptive parent herself. Wendy is going to be talking about an overseas adoption but from a different point of view. her daughter is now 18 so she is going to be talking about being an interracial family and what she has seen in the last 18 years.
Wendy also talks about raising the child based on their stage of development and not based on their age.
    Focus on the Families resources.
