महादेवाय धीमहि।

कैलास शिखर विराजत शंभु, मौन में वेद समाए,

श्वास-श्वास में सृष्टि लय, त्रिकाल दृष्टि बनाए।

ऋग् यजुः साम अथर्व गूँजे, डमरू ताल अपार,

ॐ नमः शिवाय जपूँ मैं, रुद्र बने पालनहार॥

सागर मंथन विष जब निकला, कांपे देव दनुज सारे,

कंठ धरे हलाहल शंभु, नीलकंठ त्रिभुवन प्यारे।

त्याग तपस्या वेद कहे, शिव ही अमृत ज्ञान,

महामृत्युंजय जप करूँ, कटे रोग अज्ञान॥

काल स्वयं जब काँप उठे, भैरव रूप प्रचंड,

अज्ञान तिमिर विदारक, न्याय अग्नि अखंड।

शिव महापुराण कहे स्पष्ट, भय का अंत यही,

ॐ ह्रौं भैरवाय नमः, जप से मिटे विपत्ति सभी॥

शक्ति बिना शिव शून्य कहे, वेदों का उद्घोष,

अर्धनारीश्वर रूप धर, संतुलन का प्रकाश।

सृष्टि रचना लय तीनों, एक देह में वास,

नमः शिवाय नमः शक्ति, प्रेम बने इतिहास॥

शिवमौन उपदेशी वट तले, शिव गुरु परम महान,

हस्त मुद्रा में ब्रह्म ज्ञान, टूटे माया बंधान।

अज्ञान नाशक वेद पुकारे, आत्मा शिव ही सत्य,

तत्त्वमसि का अर्थ बने, हर जीव में शिव व्यक्त॥

वनचर रूप धर हरि शंकर, अर्जुन का अभिमान हर,

भक्ति परीक्षा करुणा से, शिव बने भक्त उद्धारक।

धनुष बाण भी योग सिखाए, कर्म में भी ध्यान,

पुराण की वाणी कहे—भक्ति श्रेष्ठ प्रमाण॥

ना आदि दिखा, ना अंत मिला, ब्रह्मा विष्णु थके,

अग्नि स्तंभ अनंत बना, लिंग रूप में शिव जगे।

अनादि अनंत वेद कहे, सत्य सनातन नाथ,

शिवलिंग पूजन से मिलता, जन्म-मरण से त्रात॥

हर हर महादेव कहे जो, तर जाए भव पार॥
