As the Head of Regional Project Delivery for Transport for NSW, Gillian Geraghty works with project teams, industry and communities to provide new infrastructure across regional and rural NSW that will support sustainable and long term transport solutions. She is also focussed on how projects can help to stimulate local economies and provide diversity, employment and training opportunities in regional communities. Gillian has a background in engineering, has worked for almost 30 years in building and infrastructure construction and she is passionate about enabling people to be their best as a solid foundation to high performing teams. Prior to joining Transport, Gillian worked as an Executive Director for NSW Health capital works agency, Health Infrastructure delivering new health projects for regional and rural NSW. She is now in her fourth year working for the NSW Government and loves the opportunity the public sector provides to give back to regional communities. In this episode, you'll gain wisdom to:
