Gilmore Ball Z

Look, we've been asking Jessica and Connor to guest host for years. They're some of our favorite people and we were delighted that they finally said yes. So now, in this final season, we brought them in to talk about a Stars Hollow Baby Shower, the Gilmore Girls plot that could have been, and why Buu's like a sticky hand toy.

After 7 seasons, Paige learns to love Dragon Ball for what it is: A show that is only capable of delivering character growth through inner monologue, and Grant tries to decide if Gilmore Girls did a great thing by giving him Emily and Lorelei bonding, or a terrible thing by undoing it in the next scene.

In a New Year's Edition of Gilmore Ball Z, we look at what happens after you date Rory Gilmore and leave Stars Hollow. We watched episodes of Supernatural (Dean), This is Us (Jess), and The Resident (Logan), to determine the most important question: Who got hotter?

Content warning: All three episodes we watched happened to deal with grief and loss and the episode of the Resident includes a plot line where a child dies of cancer.

A repeat plot on Gilmore Girl still manages to get Grant, even though it's exactly the same hospital plot as Season 1 and the Z fighters fail to save the world.

Paige has some questions for Dragon Ball, but she's grateful for what she can get. Meanwhile, Gilmore Girls actually told us what was in a letter, and found the weirdest form of nostalgia for better seasons, repetition. Also: Grant's hot(?) Halo takes

Neysha from the But Why Tho podcast network joins us one last time to talk about breast pumps, Lane's wasted potential (as a character), and an episode of Dragon Ball Z that felt like Goku/Vegeta fanfic.

It's Christopher's turn to hold the stupid ball on Gilmore Girls as he tries to puzzle out why Lorelei doesn't want to have a baby with him RIGHT NOW, while on Dragon Ball, we meet a very contentious piece of chocolate.

Dragon Ball goes back to its bad battle habits, with a little accidental(?) kink added in, while on Gilmore Girls, Paris wants a 9/11 party and Lorelei just wanted to knit in the freezing cold. Is that so much to ask?

Goku is on his Path to Power in the Dragon Ball movie that recaps and retells everything that happened before the Saiyans came along. Paige isn't sure if Goku had a monkey tail or a monkey's paw when a movie finally gives her "less fighting, more character stuff" and she might want the fighting back.

This year, it might be a weird Thansgiving, but we're always going to be grateful for every listener. You're all great and your generosity consistently surprises us. Thank you for donating and letting us watch movies for a good cause.
