Gilmore Girls - S1 E5: Cinnamon's Wake

My favorite episode so far... tune in for an honest chat about crushes, pets, family, and so much more :)

Here is the recipe I used for the (very cinnamon-y) Recipe of the Week. Feel free to try it out and let me know how it went!

  • Linzer Cookies: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/linzer-cookies-recipe - You can fill them with any jam you wish, I used homemade apple jam (see recipe below)
  • Apple Jam: Peel 1 apple and dice it into small pieces. Put it in a small pot with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon cardamom, start cooking on medium heat, stirring constantly! Add sugar to taste, while it's cooking, so that the apple juice can come out. If you need to soften the apples more, then add a tablespoon of water and cover. It's ready when all the apple has softened and you can mush it with a fork so it becomes saucy and jammy:)
