TELL ME WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE, AND I’LL TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE
Sounds cliche and overused, but this really makes sense especially with John Sterling’s subject today. John talks about The Rule of 5, where our character and being become the average 5 people we always hang out with. Find out how you can make sure you become aligned with the right people by tuning in to this latest episode of Noob School.
WISDOM FOR THE NOOBS
JOHN: You always have the choice of where you want to lean on
“You just need to understand that you have a choice on which way you lean. Now, I'm not suggesting that you fire all your friends that aren’t business leaders, but you can certainly if you want to, if you want to be kind of on that side of the fence, you can just lean that way, and what I mean is, pick your people that you'd like to hang out with or you think they're going places that you'd like to go.”
JOHN: What happens when you don’t make a choice
“If you don't make a choice, what typically happens is you just get pulled one way or another do you typically get pulled the wrong way.”
