THE GOLDEN ERA OF HIP-HOP, VOL. 1
With the news of the passing of MF Doom, I was inspired to make a playlist consisting of my first musical obsession, Hip-Hop. From the late 80's and through the early 90's, I bought and collected hip-hop cassettes and CD's. I had so many that I had multiple shelves containing them. I used to also tape trade episodes of the legendary hip-hop radio show, The Stretch Armstrong Show; later to be known as the Stretch and Bobbito show. I would find the episodes I needed in classified ads in the back of the Source magazine, and would trade with people that needed what I had. This is the first in many episodes dedicated to my love of hip-hop. I hope you enjoy. Don't forget to subscribe to and rate the show wherever you listen to your podcasts.
