Right from a young age, she knew that she wasn't going to get married, have kids and live in our house with a white picket fence. Her unwavering fierce nature was going to take her to exactly where she needed to be to have the experience she needed to have and she trusted in this. We also take a closer look at our bodies and what is needed in these fast-moving ever evolving times we live in. Elyse is a wealth of knowledge in this space. We talk about how she became interested in her own well-being and then how that transmuted into the health & well-being of those around her.

As a teenager, Elyse suffered from acne, persistent thrush, cysts and abscesses in her breasts and ovaries, constant bloating, anaemia, depression, sugar addiction, constipation, diarrhoea, and food intolerances that were getting progressively worse. She had begun thinking these issues were normal, and something she would have to live with. It was a very empowering moment when she learnt the connection the gut has with all of these issues, and how she could transform her health by first transforming her gut and microbiome (our army of bacteria that we cannot survive a second without!).
