In this episode I welcome Kyle Keefe, a sportscaster with the Colorado Avalanche for over 25 years. You can catch Kyle hosting pre-game, intermission, and post-game coverage on Altitude Sports. He loves his job, but what he loves most is his family. He shares about their journey with IVF, supporting his wife through a cancer battle, and welcoming their daughter through adoption. And finally, Kyle leaves his daughter, Quincy, words he hopes she'll always remember.

At the time of this episode release, we were so saddened to hear of the passing of Peter McNab from cancer at the age of 70. Cancer sucks. Kyle and I talked about that in the episode and it was really beautiful to see the way the Avalanche organization honored Peter McNab's legacy. I have heard nothing but good things about him, and although I never had the opportunity to meet Peter, watching him alongside Kyle and the rest of the broadcast team for so many years made me feel like I knew him. In a very small way, I dedicate this episode to you, Peter.
As Kyle can testify, things don't always go the way we envision. But it's important to recognize the blessings we do have and cherish them every day.
Thank you for journeying with me this far.
