Nostalgia is totally in this season. I couldn't help but think about my summers in 2014 and 2016 and how the music was fun and exciting.  I feel like it’s expected for a woman to be put together whether it’s her beauty, her career, her finances it’s always expected. And I think that we all have different definitions of self care. For some you might spend $500 a month or $1,000 or $10 a month on making yourself feel good and I can’t help but be damned if you do and damned if you don’t. 

As we welcomed in the new year we've all probably kept up the tradition of New Year New Me. As chaotic as 2020 was I think it's important to be patient with ourselves and allow ourselves to make mistakes and have failures. Sh**t happens and sometimes it's out of our control. Don't stress yourself out!
