In this video, Jen Ferguson shares about the importance of families following God’s ways rather than simply going with the flow of culture.  Full of practical ideas, Jen shares her heart for living counterculture in today’s world.

Jen Ferguson is the Assistant Pastor at New Covenant Assembly of God. She is also a mentor at Commonwealth Charter Academy - a PA charter cyber school based out of Harrisburg. She is married to Tim and Mom to Hailey, Kiley, Xander, & Finley.

Recently, God has called Jen and Tim to start a ministry called “Life as We Know It 4 Now” where they families of God’s way through Biblical teaching on topics such as raising children, finances, schooling options, priorities, etc.  They want to speak words of encouragement to help them keep walking out their faith.

In this month’s episode of “Girl, That’ll Preach”, I’m talking with my friend, Patty Blake, about the importance of helping your teen hide God’s Word in their hearts.  In a culture that wants to indoctrinate young minds with ungodly ideas, here are some tools to help your kids stay on the right path.

Patty is the pastor’s wife at Mifflinburg Assembly of God in Mifflinburg, Pa.   She is also a K-8 substitute teacher for Mifflinburg School District and  the new Penn Del District Bible Quiz Coordinator.  Most importantly, she is married to Johnny and Mom to Matthew, Andrew, and Megan.

Welcome back to “Girl, That’ll Preach!” This month, I’m so happy to share a conversation I had with Penn Del Girl’s Ministry Director, Sharon Poole. You’re going to love hearing Sharon’s heart on “The Importance of Girl’s Ministry”. We talk about when to wear white capris, casseroles, and even the year she changed her name. Sharon Poole is the PennDel Ministry Network’s Girl’s Ministries Director. She also serves at Calvary Church in Irwin Pa where her son, Nick pastors. She’s Mom to Natasha, mother-in-law to Heidi, and extremely proud grandma to Zack, Evie, Luke and Addie. Last summer, Sharon became Rev Sharon Poole when she received her ministry credentials.
