In our last episode, “Girl, you need a friend”, we discussed the importance of healthy friendships. And as we were recording that episode we were reminded that it’s totally impossible to have healthy friendships without having healthy boundaries because healthy people with healthy boundaries make for relationships so rich and fulfilling, The truth is, you don’t NEED lots of friends, you just need a few solid ones. In this episode we are going to do some real talk about boundaries, what they are, who needs them, a litmus test for friendships, signs of a toxic friends and how to “break up” with people who don't align with all that is life giving and good.
Boundaries are fences, not walls. They protect our heart, mind, and soul and allow us the freedom to mutually love and support one another in a healthy way that contributes life rather than steal it away.
