The ladies are back, and hopefully you didn’t try and call them because VERIZON IS ON SOME ISH! To say the least Verizon has let down all of it’s West coast customers the last couple days with calls being down.  But the show must go on, and Mo is beyond excited that her Mexican Pizzas are officially coming back to Taco Bell permanently!  Her manifestation, prayers and our previous guests Caz have pulled through.  Since the ladies love Winning Time on HBO so much, you know they had to talk about Jerry West and his recent issues with how he is portrayed in the “dramatized” series.  The Seattle Kraken have new minority owners & who knew Zamboni’s can do donuts!

It been almost a year, since the ladies had guest Crystal “C-Rob” Robinson on the show, and in that time she has had a highly enjoyed book “Finding Myself”, become the 7th player in the NY Liberty’s Ring of Honor and now the new Assistant coach of the Phoenix Mercury.  Despite some internet connection issues, the ladies were able to chat with Crystal for a little to get her take on her new position, the team dynamics and coming for the rest of the WNBA, to WIN!  The ladies will hopefully have Crystal on again to discuss more when the internet & schedules allow lol.

Welcome back to GirlChatSports, the ladies continue to be shocked by the continued free agency moves in the NFL, most recently Tyreek Hill.  Mo gets her fantasy football wish of Davante Adams coming to the Las Vegas Raiders and Deshaun Watson heads to Cleveland.

However the real discussion in this show is regarding #LiaThomas.  With the constant social media attention that SHE has received, Mo & Mel felt the need to address their thoughts on Lia, and attempt to clear-up some of the false narrative and fact-check some of the false information being spewed about transgender athletes and address toxic masculinity.  The ladies find in interesting that loudest voices against transgender women in sports seem to be men, especially those who have zero dogs in the fight.
