When someone tells you that their mantra is “we should all wake up dancing”, you know that they’re a good sort of human. Moxettes, meet ultra-good human, Naturopath and Founder of Edible Beauty Australia – Anna Mitsios.
Anna was 18 when she was diagnosed with diabetes and it was this diagnosis that ultimately spawned her to leave a career in banking and pursue naturopathy. In clinical practice, she was often blending natural skincare and ingestible remedies for her clients, many with PCOS and endometriosis, to help them better manage their symptoms and soon after, she had the idea for Edible Beauty - a range of beauty and ingestible products that are, in Anna’s words, “safe enough to eat”.
Get ready to take notes, peeps, because this episode is packed with a heap of easy natural remedies and watch-outs for helping achieve balance, both in life (y’all are going to want to do Anna’s ‘wheel’ exercise) and also in our bodies – starting with what we put in our stomachs. We talk PCOS, how to reduce excess estrogen in our bodies, what causes hormonal breakouts and how to make realistic and sustainable changes in our lives that can help improve our overall health.
This episode was recorded late last year in Anna's office/warehouse in Sydney - you might hear faint background noises, phones ringing and a baby's cries occasionally - because these eps are intended to be authentic, raw, honest, and as such they are not highly (if at all!) edited.

Anna's song request for the Girl's Got Moxie S2 playlist is 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams.
