It has been an extra exciting week for the gals as Hawaii finally opens up non-essential stores, Piper successfully moves into college, and Keely gets a job at Target! While Keely hits the town to go thrift shopping and attempting to not get lost in the super complicated mall, Piper starts her classes and learns how to use public transportation for the first time in her life. Your two-cohosts are also loving all the new things in their lives from bangs to mattress toppers and new music and documentaries. As an added bonus, the gals reflect on their summer goals and rate each goal they set on a scale of 1-5. With classes just kicking off for Piper the day this episode airs, its about time the gals put together their goals for the school year (before its too late). Both your co-hosts seem to be on the same page about creating better study habits and reaching out to meet new people in their new environments. Keely is focusing on getting her assignments done early, being present in her zoom class, and reaching out to new people (cause as you all know, making friends is extra hard during this time). On the other hand, Piper is looking to become involved in her school or community in some way, finding a study buddy in each class, and keeping her place tidy as she is living on her own for the first time. A long awaited and exciting week for both the gals as Keely is finally released from quarantine and Piper is on her last countdown of moving to college (one week to go baby)! If you have ever been browsing the internet, you have probably seen an ad for a Buzzfeed quiz pop up on your screen in some form or another. Some are definitely weirder and more "outside the box" compared to others but the questions are always interesting and quizzes are just fun to do. Using the new (maybe it isn't new but its the first time the gals had used it) Buzzfeed Quiz Party, your two co-hosts took a couple different ones to find out which quote they should live by through designing an at-home desk, figuring out which fruit matches their personality, and exploring what they should major in based on their favorite foods. You know what makes you feel better after any cry session...good food! This week has been a roller coaster for the gals as Keely goes through issues with adjusting to the food in her climate and Piper goes through a mental breakdown from missing all her friends. On a good note, Keely has successfully acquired air conditioning so she isn't dying in the humidity of Hawaii air and Piper actually got into her first dorm of choice! Moving day is here as Keely packs her bags and head off to Hawaii! From utilizing the space bags which we love so much to stuffing your carry on to save weight in the bags you check, the gals break down all the tips and tricks they've gained over the years from traveling place to place. Always make sure to use the bathroom before you hop on the plane, packing snacks (cause airport food lowkey sucks and is super expensive) and if you're anything like Piper, you always have to have your fanny pack with all your essentials right at your waist.
