Gisborne Church of Christ Sermons

Join us for an inspiring update from Mel, with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), as she shares her experiences bringing healthcare, education, and the Gospel to isolated communities in Arnhem Land. Discover how this vital ministry is building deep relationships, supporting remote homelands, and opening doors to reach people who have never heard the name of Jesus.

In this special 50th-anniversary message for the Gisborne Church of Christ, a returning former pastor Ray Smith explores the powerful "keys of the kingdom" entrusted to believers. Join us to discover how the spiritual keys of agreement, praise, and Jubilee empower the local church to open new doors and step boldly into God's future for the Macedon Ranges.

In Week 10 of "The Ascent" series, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Gisborne Church of Christ by reflecting on its faithful history and looking ahead to its future mission. Inspired by the Great Commission and the prophets' vision of the Lord's mountain, this message calls us to find our hope in the Lord and actively cultivate authentic disciples across the Macedon Ranges, Sunbury, and beyond

In Week 9 of "The Ascent" series, we explore the incredible evolution of our access to God, contrasting the fearful restrictions of Mount Sinai with the open, harmonious invitation of Mount Zion. Join us to discover how Jesus allows us to confidently approach God's throne of grace, and explore the beautiful promise in Revelation of an unshakeable future where God dwells directly among His people.

Join us this week for a special Missions Focus service! Josh sits down for an inspiring conversation with our special guests, Clinton and Rebecca Waters.

Clinton and Rebecca share powerful stories and updates from their incredible work at the Dareton Youth and Community Centre and the Dareton Church of Christ. Listen in as they discuss the joys, challenges, and beautiful moments of serving their local community, and hear firsthand how God is moving in Dareton to impact the next generation.

Whether you are passionate about missions or just looking to be encouraged by stories of faith in action, this is a conversation you won't want to miss!

When Christ transforms us inwardly, we transform the world around us. This week on The Ascent, we unpack the Sermon on the Mount. Discover why true contentment is never found in external success, but in the deep, inner work of Jesus' grace. If you are exhausted by trying to measure up, listen in to hear why Jesus doesn't lower the bar—He carries you over it.

When the daily grind leaves you exhausted and temporary escapes aren't enough, where do you find lasting hope? In Week 7 of "The Ascent," we explore Isaiah's vision for a future Eden and how Jesus calls us to build pockets of paradise right here in our everyday lives.

Continuing our Ascent series, Grace Inglis explores the contrasting mountaintop experiences of Elijah. From the raw, awe-inspiring fire on Mount Carmel to the gentle, comforting whisper on Mount Sinai, discover how God meets us exactly where we are.
