At some point in our lives, we all need help. We need somebody to lift us from the darkness and show us the light. We need a friend to believe in us when we have lost hope. When I was living on Kaua’i, Dr. Somer was the help I needed. I was stuck in my trauma and I was overwhelmed by my bipolar diagnosis. I found Somer at one of the lowest points in my life. That was just a phase of my life.” It was over two years ago that I made that statement. Since then I have not had a manic or depressive episode.
