June 03, 2022 The Half-Life of Tragedy (Buffalo Massacre, 2022)
Jamar and I get back in the swing of things. The first conversation reflects on our initial reaction to a shooting perpetrated by a white supremacist, now deemed a domestic terrorist attack, on a predominantly Black neighborhood grocery store, killing 10, and injuring 3. All victims were Black in a tragic event that was racially motivated. This event occurred on May 14th, 2022.
This recording occurred 3 days before the Uvalde School Shooting massacre and thus was not a part of the conversation, despite its relevance.
