For Robert Smith, the feeling of resistance was all to real.

Early Life

Born in St. George, South Carolina, Rob took to sports quickly at a young age. His skills and ability would land him on the varsity football team at Woodland High School. All eyes would be on him as he lined up behind center under the lights each week.

Talent might have gotten him the shot, but his work ethic is what attracted the spotlight. Robert would go on to receive a dozen scholarship offers by his Junior year. All but one school would go back on their word after Robert suffered a torn ACL that same season.

It wouldn’t take long for the schools to return as Robert would show-out his senior year, proving to the scouts and doubters that he is far from done with the game of football.

Clemson Football

From one challenge to another, Robert makes the transition from Quarterback to Safety while attending Clemson University. Despite the adjustment, Robert would once again use his tenacious work ethic and faith to beat the odds and ultimately become one of the best of his craft.

The next level was the NFL and it was closer now than ever before. That goal Robert and his dad had set years prior was within reach.

The Next Level

Just when things were looking their best, the reality of politics and business began to shine. Robert would travel from workout to workout, team to team and spend countless hours proving his worth at the next level.

Fighting through a mild depression, uncertainty and frustration, Robert would give his full self to his faith and let God take the wheel. A chance encounter would lead Robert to a meeting with a publishing company that would trigger the same love in his heart he first felt with football.

Trust The Process

Using the same “Get After It” mentality Robert would go on to find success with N2 Publishing opening his own franchise and is already working on a second one. With focus and drive, Robert knows that his blessings are just beginning.

Looking back at his story and seeing how far he has come, Robert has just one thought…
