What a beautiful episode this was with Jocelyn.  She is a licensed clinical social worker, coach and group therapist.  We met back at a circle in Salem MA earlier this year and have stayed connected ever since.

 In this episode, we get into what brought Jocelyn into the field of therapy/ group trauma work /social work and what trauma informed means with these fields in mind. There can be a lot of nuance in today's lingo about what Trauma Informed means and how impactful the principles are in offering therapy, coaching and human-ing. We explore what trauma informed can involve and how it can be infused into the world more broadly.
 Jocelyn shares the POWER of group therapy -- I would really like to try this soon. Jocelyn also facilitates body empowerment experiences (Body painting liberation workshops) that support others to feel comfort and powerful in their body. As many of us are taught to disconnect from our body, pleasure and power -- these spaces are a deep invitation to transmute the old stories of our bodies into new reclamation and reconnection. We chat about a recent empowerment workshop she organized and our stories around our bodies as well as formative experiences growing up. What an inspirational conversation this was with the magical Athena Desai. I first met Athena at an Edgewalker's circle in Salem MA herself and dear friend Ariel hosted. I have been a frequent guest at their gatherings ever since. Athena sang beautifully within the circle's as well as powerful drumming. She is the bearer of magical light and wisdom here on this planet and I am very grateful I was able to have her on here!

Athena and I speak about her work with Veterans over the years and the healing that is needed after these warriors return from defending us civilians  -- she supports in  many different capacities such as acupuncture, music, yoga and more. SO powerful! We also speak on her experience with acupuncture and shamanic eastern medicine , plant medicine, yoga and music. What an incredibly talented woman she is and I cannot wait for her music album to be released!!! You will for sure see me put it out there.

Her work with Veterans is vital, and so grateful she is here in this world to assist in healing, and supporting these warriors. Thank you Athena!

This is a deep and vital one folks. In this episode, Heather brings on the majestic Kaeleigh Kundalini raw and real from Maine together in the studio!

Kaeleigh gets into detail about her journey into and out of veganism and the changes she endured within herself and body during this time and the awakening she experienced.

Within the time she was vegan, Kaeleigh was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer when she was 19 years old. She dives into detail about the process of her treatment and the ways she wanted to be treated at this time in her life. The decisions she made for herself through this process were hard, but she came out brighter on the other side of it all.

Kaeleigh is now in remission of this cancer and feels more herself than ever before. Diving into her sensuality and full self expression and authenticity in the world. A Full F-yes to herself and well being and taking care of her body to the utmost extent yaaa baby!!! In this episode, Heather dives into her experience at a women's nude body painting retreat in Central Massachusetts.

A short but deep episode, on the intentions Heather had on why she decided to partake in this retreat, the relationship with her body growing up, and reflections and experience at the day long event.   

This was a vulnerable share, and also potent. The retreat was very transformative on a mind-body-soul level. As Heather integrates the experience, she felt inspired to share about it all here in this episode.

Wooww this episode was chock FULL of laughs (i mean tons), realizations, heart to heart moments and much more.
 
Heather brought on Miss Angie to get raw and real on her health/wellness and weight loss journey, inner child work and her self love process.

In just a mere 7 months or so, Angie has lost 54lbs and counting. She has  been VERY consistent and motivated with her fitness goals, and she isn't stopping there.
 
Not only does Angie open up about her physical health, but this conversation also dives deep into mental and emotional health as well. They all work in tandem, and Angie takes it deep with the work she has done mentally, physically, emotionally & spiritually.

Angie is a proud Latina, mom to a mini Angie, grad student, lover, friend, and family member. She works a corporate job that deals with healthcare and she has numerous volunteer roles throughout Massachusetts such as being on the young professionals board for Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Childhood Cruelty. Angie has many passions within the health care world but her true love is truly about the health and well being of one’s self. This compelled Angie to start her beauty care line Besazo Beauty and also embark on her weight loss journey which she has made significant progress and on, & was featured on LoseIt. A large company that specializes in calorie counting and wellness tracking. Angie loves sharing her wellness journey and being vulnerable on social media as many can relate to either juggling being a single mom, getting their degrees later in life like she did, and of course much more.  Things Angie was so ashamed of before, she now realizes how many can relate. She has grasped and took self love is the best love literally. "I love me, and we should all love thee.”

In this episode, Heather brings on the wonderful Ariel Szabo (@sacredmoonflower) to talk all things sexuality, healing, and Ariel's healing through somatics and psychedelics.

Heather and Ariel speak about Ariel's upbringing and the sexual trauma she had experienced throughout her childhood and young adult life.

They dive into her journey of re-inhabiting her body and healing from various forms of sexual violence and exploitation. Coming back into loving connection with herself and the world around.

When starting to connect back to herself and receive healing, Ariel started working intentionally with plants and psychedelics to catapult her even further into releasing what no longer serves and moving forward on her path. 

Through these experiences and challenges, Ariel found her true calling with Somatic Sex Education and became a certified Sexological Bodyworker. Through this work, she helps other's reclaim their body, learn to rest in the safety of their body, unwind shame and experience deep profound pleasure .

In this episode, Heather dives into her experience and time in Costa Rica with her partner Andrew, and on her own.

Before heading to Costa Rica,  Heather did not know much about the country prior to booking anything. The intuitive nudge came in and she went with it and found an incredible Ranch to stay on while there for the month of January.

So many loving animals on the Ranch, people, visitors that came and went.

This is an overarching reflection episode on the experience of Nosara, Costa Rica, the Ranch experience, meeting new people, solo travel and listening to the intuitive hits we are gifted with.

Marysia and I met on the back roads of Nosara, Costa Rica a few weeks back. We chatted, exchanged info and I saw her beautiful story of worldwide yoga teaching, alternative health and I was like I gotta get her on here!! ⁣

⁣Marysia and I spoke about her journey into yoga and teaching classes upon classes and retreats all around the world -- from Singapore, to Australia, Switzerland and more!!  Though she is playfully known as, “The Queen of Handstand,” Marysia Do has also cultivated a global reputation as the encyclopedic teacher of teachers. Marysia began yoga as a teenager  randomly in 2001 with a Rodney Yee DVD she found at a CD store where she grew up on Long Island in New York. Handstands became her passion, and her love of yoga could be felt by thousands upon thousands of students she connected with. ⁣

⁣I of course wanted to also chat about her home birthing story, her views on today’s medical system and women's health, and of course her new baby yoga classes you can find on her very own yoga app! ⁣
