An actor who works on a medical drama needs to routinely rehearse and recite complex medical terminology. However, just because they can recite these terms, it  doesn’t give them understanding of their true meaning. There’s a significant difference between knowing someone and knowing of someone. When you know of someone, you know their name and surface information about their life.
