This week Aaron and Zach are back from their rodeo week vacation. They wrap up the rodeo and other local Sheridan events. They also discuss some interesting news from across the state. Zach gives his view on a recent report on WY US history and civics standards being the "worst in the nation". Then, Aaron and Zach cover a recent report on Liz Cheney's funding and their view on the U.S. House of Representatives election.
This week Aaron and Zach give their Cowboy Ethic, "If you can't identify the leader, you are the leader" and what that means to them. Aaron also gives advice to the younger generation about Wedding Etiquette. They discuss Liz Cheney's vote to remove statues of Confederate leaders from the U.S. Capitol Building, WY representatives Bouchard and Gray calling for Public Media to be defunded after NPR published an article stating the 2nd Amendment's creation is rooted in racism. They also discuss the newly proposed Sheridan Ranch Subdivision on 5th Street in Sheridan, the cyberattack on Eastern WY College, the new "Delta" Variant of the COVID-19 virus, and where the line is between informing and fear mongering.
This week Aaron and Zach discuss the recent news about the WY Game and Fish Department's request to add bathrooms along the North Tongue River. They also cover a lot of state news surrounding the University of WY, including a professor researching their claim that global warming is contributing to more fires in the Rocky Mountain Region, and a web conference discussing WY and education as it relates to race.
