Here at home, the GOP turned on Liz Cheney, removing her as leader as punishment for her outspoken stance against former President Trump. And lastly, we discuss gas shortages across the east coast, caused by a halt in production due to a Russian malware attack on a US pipeline.

This week we keep it local, discussing some racist activity right here in our corner of Queens, and also look across the globe at the Covid crisis in India.  They desperately need more vaccines, while here in the US we are battling anti-vaccine misinformation campaigns. We also check in on the FBI raid on Giuliani and end the show with some good news from the NFL draft.

New census data just came out, and we discuss what it could mean for the 2022 election. Also, new CDC guidance for fully vaccinated people, more tragic deaths of black and brown people, and we look at a possible SCOTUS case that could change gun laws across the country.

The jury reached a verdict in the Derek Chauvin murder trial, and now we wait on sentencing.  While
we celebrate this moment of justice, we know there’s still a lot of work to be done when it comes to police reform.  And with weed recently legalized here in NY we celebrate all things 420.

Spring is here, and we got out and about with some friends, but we kept clear of the spring breakers in Miami. Jaki marched against violence towards the Asian community, and we delve into the tragic recent gun violence in our country. We also got to chat about power and climate change with Jay Hakes, who worked with Clinton and Obama on these issues as we head towards Earth Day, and how we can make this world a better place for us and future generations.

Viewership was down for The Grammys, but it still had some great performances and wins. We delve a little more into the Cuomo investigation, Covid around the world, and the historic cabinet approval for Secretary of the Interior.
