Barbara discusses the devastating effect that COVID-19 has had and continues to have on the people living on the Navajo Nation. Sub-standard housing, scarcity of running water and electricity, along with multi-generational families living together in close quarters makes preventing the spread of virus extremely difficult. Navajo children are particularly impacted and many have lost grandparents and parents.
