When Thanksgiving Day is over, we don't have to stop giving thanks! As believers in Christ, thankfulness should be a characteristic of our lives. There is something about the recognition of appreciation, that motivates behavior. Could this be true with God, as well? What might happen if we started thanking God for everything we could think of, on a daily basis? Wouldn't it be something if The King of Heaven would "flex his muscles" in response to our appreciation? David said in Psalms 107, "Let us give thanks to The Lord, for His unfailing love and His wonderful works toward man. For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." Have you come to God recently just to say, "Thank You!" Or do you only come burned out and begging? Consider changing your approach. See what happens.
