Gizmonic Institute Radio: Your MST3K Companion

Ready your velvet bag full of beans, this one is about to get weird! The crew discusses Attack of The The Eye Creatures, an oily film whose title contains a double article, presumably at the expense of the film itself having any redeeming qualities!

Your favorite 90's energy soda is back, and with a vengeance. This week the crew discusses MST3K S12E2 - Atlantic Rim, although most of the talk about Atlantic Rim is about The Asylum - the company behind Atlantic Rim but it's all Atlantic Rim adjacent. Mostly.

Summer means it's music festival season, and Dr. Odd definitely doesn't plan on missing out! Although he may end up having some unwanted company first... The crew also discusses MST3K S4E17 - Crash or the Moons OR Crash of Moons because even the people who made this tv-show-turned-movie didn't care enough about the title to be consistent.

Dr. Odd returns from vacation, but he isn't alone... The crew also discuss MST3K S12E1 - Mac and Me. Do you like Peanut Coladas?

Dr. Odd is gone on vacation this week so the crew invents new card games, rations food, and finally figures out what that coffee maker does. They also discuss MST3K S4E16 - Fire Maidens Of Outer Space, a hidden gem of an episode lost in the labyrinth of film licensing.

This week Dr. Odd has us doing what he calls the "Pizzadental Fitness Challenge" which is as unpleasant as it sounds. The crew also discusses MST3K S11E14 - At The Earth's Core, the final episode of season 11!

This week we do some SCIENCE! The crew also discusses MST3K S4E15 - The Beatniks, a film about Beatniks which has no actual Beatniks in it... we don't think... because we STILL aren't really sure what Beatniks are.

This week Jeff gets mentored about the free market and tries to negotiate with Dr. Odd. Renea really wants a t-shirt with a polar bear on it. The crew also discusses MST3K S11E13 - The Christmas That Almost Wasn't, an actually... not bad Christmas movie? Does a thing exist in the MST3K-a-verse?

Dr. Odd gets a visit from his favorite family member, and the crew put on their problem-solving goggles and discuss MST3K S4E14 - Tormented. FIREWORK RAT!

"Magic" is such a challenging modifier for this film. "Mundane", "Horrifying", or "Sweaty" seem like they would all be better choices, but at the end of the day, who are we to judge? As you may have guess from the previous sentence and the name of the episode, this week the crew discusses MST3K S11E12 - Carnival Magic, while Dr. Odd makes a series of mistakes, that are different than the series of mistakes he made last week (these ones involve vegetables!).
