Glad Tidings Moncton

In this five-part series, we explore the spiritual realities shaping our world today. Through Scripture, we will consider the Purpose of Prophecy, the Great Delusion, the Islamization of the West, God’s Plan for Israel, and the Church in Canada amidst a Changing Landscape.

Each message is intended to strengthen faith, encourage discernment, and call believers to stand with biblical conviction, hope, and readiness as we await the fulfillment of God’s purposes.

This week: "The Purpose of Prophecy"

Bible prophecy is not meant to fuel speculation but to assure believers that God is sovereign. It calls us to stay awake, live holy lives, find hope in suffering, and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to lead people to Jesus in the light of His coming.

God is not fighting on our side. He is inviting us into His will.

True rest is not escaping life’s stress or waiting for a storm to pass; it is a settled condition of the soul found by trusting in Jesus and His finished work.

The apostle Paul reminds us to open our hearts to Jesus so His light can deepen our understanding, renew our hope, and reveal the value and power He has placed within us.

Examining the place of glory in our everyday lives.

The story of Esther is a call to leave the 'shadow mission' of self-interest and step into God's true mission. It reminds us that we are where we are for a reason, and that real life is found in using our gifts and resources for God's highest purposes.

There is a way out of the spiritual rut we can find ourselves in.

What happens when we look to someone else to “complete” us?

What does it mean to have a pure heart? How can we achieve it?

Is Jesus truly Lord in your life?
