This sermon examines the biblical account of the woman with the issue of blood to illustrate the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ. The preacher contrasts the woman's desperate, secret approach with the public request of Jairus, emphasizing that Christ values and heals those on the fringes of society. By analyzing her condition as a metaphor for spiritual sinfulness, the message argues that human efforts cannot cure the soul's disease, necessitating reliance solely on Christ's atoning work. The narrative highlights how Christ commends her faith, offers consolation, and compels her to publicly confess Him, thereby encouraging believers to live openly for their Savior. Ultimately, the text calls listeners to recognize their need for grace and to respond with immediate, trusting faith in Jesus alone.
