A stroll through the Wyndford housing scheme, Maryhill, Glasgow, on a breezy early morning in August 2023. Includes the tower blocks that are scheduled for demolition, then follows the river path to the Botanic Gardens Arboretum, exiting onto the Kirklee Bridge, then along Garrioch Road back to the Wyndford — which is locally known as the Barracks, because it used to be the barracks of the Highland Light Infantry. It is where Rudolf Hess was held when he was captured in Scotland. The original barracks wall still stands.
