We are back, married, messy, and here to talk about our failures so you can hopefully avoid them. New projects, new perspectives, and a whole lotta realism. 

Rachelle & Zac chat about life over the past few months. Zac brings his optimistic "throw pillow" encouragements while Rachelle channels her inner Eeyore and shares about how, well.... things kind of suck right now. 

Zac and Rachelle grab a couple of drinks and sit down with two of their dearest friends, Emma and Jonathan, to hear all about their love story. This journey to love includes Avengers movie premiers, creating/starring in 'Jesus Movies', Jonathan stumbling over his words like a fool, and steamy dates at Guitar Center.

New year. New bling. New song to sing. Zac & Rachelle chat about the holidays, community in light of the Corona Virus,  social media woes+pros, and how much they miss seeing people's entire faces. Everything is better together.

After a long hard think, Zac & Rachelle ask each other some random fun, "Get to Know You" type questions that lead to some deep, real life questions... ending in a long heart felt rant from Rachelle about friendship, community, and getting honest.

Dating is messy and necessary. Hear Rachelle get caught up in the feels as we talk about our previous relationship experiences, our current relationship, how growing up in church effected our dating choices, break ups, communication, and all things relational. No one does it "right" and it usually hurts a lot. 

This is the first of many episodes on the topic of church, religion, spirituality, and God.  In hindsight of our church experiences, we discuss some of the areas we've observed that may be less healthy/effective/beneficial than intended and ask some open-ended/hefty-ass questions.

"It burns, burns, burns..." Get ready for some secondhand cringe! Zac and Rachelle open up their tween/teenage journals and read off some of the most gushy entries. Hear the thoughts of the young girl crushing hard on the 'band boy'  AND about the 'band boy' that was secretly pining away for his future wife. If you thought this story couldn't get any more crazy, brace yourselves! "Today was another slice of pain..." 

Over a decade later, we get to sit down with Rachelle's parents (RC & Lauri Carrillo) to hear their observations and perspectives on the last decade and the ridiculousness of Rachelle. From crying over the boy in a band, to dating the boy from that band, and everything in between.... all the things that led us to now. Fasten your seatbelts!
