Pastor Andrew has returned this week with the message "The Rich Young Ruler" who asked an important question that we should listen to Jesus' response

Luke 18:18

18 Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

This week Pastor David Phelps delivered the message "The Manna Principle" In this message he looks back to the exodus of Israel from Egypt where God provided manna for the people every morning. Listen and learn how you can use the "Manna Principle" in your life.

Exodus 16:4 (NIV)

4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions.

This week pastor Andrew talks about Loving Others. The bible says that is the only way to show we love God so listen and learn how we can get better at not only loving others but therefore we get better at loving God!

 

1 John 4:20-21

 20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Sometimes we need to look beyond the struggles we are in and see the Joy that is out there. Jesus was looking ahead to the "Joy set before Him" and was able to endure the cross. Listen as Pastor Andrew teaches how You too can also look for the Joy before you to help you make it through the struggles we face today.

 

Hebrews 12:1-2

 

12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Proverbs 24:10

10 If you faint in the day of adversity,

Your strength is small.

Pastor Andrew gives a message called "What Now" this last Sunday of the year. What direction will you be going this year? Listen and receive some guidance.

This week GLBC welcomed Marcia Gross to speak on Forgiveness. Marcia is a singer in the area and this was her debut in preaching. She chose to speak on the very important topic of Forgiveness. The Bible says we have all sinned and fallen short of what God expects of us but we fortunately have a God who forgives. Listen and learn more about forgiveness.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

This week Pastor Andrew talks about the plans that God has for your life the "Divine Plans" that He has for every life.
