Merry Christmas to all! Pastor Andrew this week talks about the one who came to be God with us on earth - Emmanuel

Matthew

1:22-23

So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was

spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold,

the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they

shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with

us.”

This week Pastor Andrew talks about the greatest promise ever kept.

 

Matthew 1:22-23

22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

This week Pastor Andrew talks about the distractions in our lives and how they can keep us from following Jesus.

 

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

This week Pastor Andrew spoke about putting our trust in God. 

Philippians 4:6-7

 

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Pastor Andrew reminds us during this holiday season to always remember to give thanks to God.

Hebrews 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

For this week of change in the US, Pastor Andrew reminds of that Love is so important and that we need to love everyone regardless of their views or how they voted.

1 John 4:20-2120 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

One book that has lasted through the ages and still speaks to us today is the bible. It is important for us to understand the wisdom contained in this book, it is important as Pastor Andrew tells us to study God's Word!

Psalm 119:97-98 

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me.

This week pastor Andrew talks about our relationships with each other and how we need to encourage one another. 

Hebrews 12:12-13

12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

One thing we all know about is a change of plans. We have all experienced it but it is important to remember that God is directing our steps and he knows about every change of plan. Listen as Pastor Andrew speaks this week about when our plans change.

Psalm 37:23

 

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,

And He delights in his way.
