Deep house track from myself, looking to get this onto a label Along with a follow up track. So this idea came around because of the vocal sample. So i structured the groove alongside the bassline and drum patterns. Using 808 kicks and hits. I wanted to create a something a bit moody and deep, and less driven, I then used a old school detroit chord stab. Lifting the stings with this, and the fx, and hats.

Mingle Will You by Glen Hooker

Mingle a while a slow burner deep house track. Laid back Rhodes keys, mid strings lead the track through to some reverb piano touches. I added some fx, background bird sounds,. Percussion and shakers, and then then vocal elements.

New Drum and bass track, about a week to produce , Rhodes keyboards and rising strings, old school drum and bass vinyl breakbeat, sub basslines, chopped and edited. Vamp key stab, mid track. Vocal samples triggered. fx overlayed. moog bird sample. Working on a follow up track.

Journeys by Glen Hooker

Electronic down tempo track. Featuring cut samples from the movie flight. Pad keys over downtempo beats, hats and percussion take the track to an arpeggio key synth. Samples litter the track through out, as the electronic deep bass rolls the groove along.

Taken from my album Us & them. A project i've been working on. This is a deep house track built around the stab sample toward the end of the track. I used a key melody i created, I harped the chord section and added some effect then Just rode the groove adding some panned fx with depth. Layered some percussion and Hats and rim and claps. Still searching for that perfect kick.
