Glen Oak Missionary Baptist Church

I would like to invite everyone to come out to Glen Oak Baptist Church. It is a church that was founded on the principle of sound doctrine and unity. It was originally formed as Washburn Street Baptist Church around 1952. In 1977 Washburn Street Baptist Church purchased a new facility. The fire department would not let the church keep it's original name after the move, so Pastor Bill Romines came up with the idea to combine Glen after Glenwood Baptist Church, from whom the facility was purchased, and Oak from Oklahoma Avenue to create the name Glen Oak.
