October 15, 20211st Peter #13As the apostle concludes his letter, he focuses on leadership within the church. It is interesting to see that Peter is also an elder in a local church. While this letter is preparing Christians for persecution from Rome, Peter reminds all of us who the real enemy is: Satan. Look out! He's seeking to devour. In conclusion, may we hold these words close to our hearts: "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. We are preachers of the gospel in ACTION as well as in word. So, we need to make sure the sermon the world sees in us is filled with the "will of God" and not human desires.Peter's "Take Home"... 1. Be self-controlled 2. Be loving 3. Be hospitable 4. Be a good steward...more27minPlay

What does Noah have to do with this study and how does baptism fit into his story and ours? So many questions! There is a lot of tackle in this passage BUT we believe you will find this study enriching and edifying. God bless....more28minPlay
