Sometimes we are so concerned about making sure things are right with us and God that we don't make sure things are right between us and others. Making peace with others clears a pathway to peace with God.

Revenge is a dish best served cold, or at least that's what they say right? But what would our relationships that are characterized by bad blood look like if we were willing to give up revenge in favor for God's wrath?

If you have a relationship that is characterized by bad blood, you can have peace about the relationship, even if there isn't peace in the relationship, and it starts by taking one step.

What's the future look like? And how can we be sure of anything in such an uncertain world? Thankfully the Apostle John gives us some answers to those questions and reassures us of the things we can be certain of.

What is the defining characteristic of Christians? Is it Love? And if it's love then how do we demonstrate the same kind of love that God has shown to us, to the rest of the world?

Sometimes the idea of becoming Christ-like seems more like a pipe-dream than an actual reality, but John promises that when Christ returns that will indeed become our reality.

What do people think about Jesus? What about his claim to be the only way to heaven? Is that claim bigoted? Exclusive? What about other people who believe in other religious groups? Join us this morning for worship, as we look at those very questions and see that the more we discover about Jesus, the more beautiful a truth the incarnation becomes. Believing that God became a man isn't a selfish, exclusive claim intended to put people off; it is actually a generous and loving claim that holds out the best possible hope for humanity and the world.
