Baptists believe that every Christian is a priest unto God. We are able by ourselves to read and interpret Scriptures without a special class of mediators to interpret Scriptures and pray for us. We are a royal priesthood of believers with Jesus, himself, as our great high Priest.

We don't always think often on the subject of heaven, but it is a subject that must preoccupy us because the Scriptures speak much of it.
