A 40-minute audiovisual tone poem I created using an unused version of the 2-Hour 3D-TV Ambience video. The title is named after the "glider guitar" technique of Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine; also because the soundtrack sounds like a jet. I only used three different color filters, yet thought the power of editing was able to make each of the frames a variety of colors. Like Freeform Electronic Jazz Express and Septachromatic Noise Concerto before it, the shoegaze-inspired soundtrack was made by digitally processing the audio from a concert at my school with a number of effects like echo, delay, fuzz, and tremolo. I also cut up audio from thirty different Librivox audiobooks and stitch them together to form an audio stream of consciousness influenced by William S. Burroughs' cut-up method. I then used a 3D effect on AudioLab (a sister app to my usual digital audio workstation BandLab) that pans from the left to right channel as well as an echo and delay effect. Really gives the piece a surrealist and dreamlike quality.
