Worship is something we do in church, but is it something bigger? Worship is actually meant for us to stand in awe and wonder of our God and to catch a glimpse of heaven in every worship opportunity.

Last episode we covered a bit about the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper so naturally we need to cover the other Sacrament: Baptism. As we are given an inheritance and the Holy Spirit as the downpayment, we get a glimpse of the things to come: heaven.

A meal, an appetizer, a foretaste. That's communion, the Lord's Supper. We get an incredible glimpse into the things of heaven in this episode!

Isn't behold just some old word that no one uses anymore? It might seem that way, but it actually is a call for us to pay attention! the Bible uses it to make sure we're seeing what God is doing. This forms the basis for our glimpse in episode 4.

The choice between something new, used, or old is an interesting one. But our understanding of new things on this earth is different that God's understanding. In episode 3, that will be our focus.

Christmas is meant to be a joyous season, but there are parts of it that make it less joyous. We get a glimpse of heaven at Christmas but it's tainted by daily life in this broken world. We'll discuss that and consider how we can focus on the glimpse of heaven we get at Christmas.

In this first full episode of Glimpses, we consider the fascination people sometimes have about the end times and heaven. We'll reflect on words from Revelation and a recent song used in worship at Redeemer.
